After serving a total of 8 years between the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves as well as another twenty years in Law Enforcement, I decided on a "late in life" career change into Real Estate.  Originally my only experience with Real Estate was buying a home for my family.  But I gradually began to meet people in the Real Estate Investment industry and realized that I had a legitimate interest in it myself. 

When I bought my first home, I had no idea what I was doing. I was 26 years old and honestly I wasn't financially mature enough to handle the responsibility.  I learned my lesson later when a messy divorce sped up the inevitable foreclosure.  I did later remarry (a miracle itself) and even bought another home.  Luckily the marriage (and the home) both worked out that time!  

I have since learned that there are a lot of people out there that were in similar situations. Not with divorces! I don't wish that on anyone!  But with the home buying process.  Or even the home selling process.  Or, even the foreclosure or preforclosure process.  Many young people want to buy a home but are intimidated by the process.  And unfortunately, that process doesn't seem to be getting easier anytime soon.  The selling process is stressful in it's own right and even though it can benefit everyone in the transaction, you may end up spending any money you make from the sale on a Cardiologist by the time it's finished.  

Then there's the preforclosure or foreclosure process.  This is a nightmare!  And I remember being in the middle of it myself and simply giving up.  But today, there are more options than ever.  If you find yourself in that position, please don't "give up".  Call me.  You have options.  There are options that may even make you come out ahead financially.  At the very least, it could save your credit, your future homebuying ability, and your sanity.  

I can work with anyone in any situation.  I will put all of my effort into finding your first home, your dream home, your vacation home, or the home you want to retire in.  I will do everything I can to sell your home, as quickly as possible, for the best price that I can possibly obtain.  I will walk you through the foreclosure process and I will do everything in my power to save your home, and if that's not possible, then I will do everything possible to prevent damage to your credit and help you recover as much money out of the property that you can.  

Don't do what I did.  It's an expensive lesson.
